Sap Season

ThatHere is part of Dad's sap boiling operation. I went down to the cabin with him early this morning to take some pictures. He goes to the cabin several times a day to tend the wood fire to keep the sap boiling and evaporating into maple syrup. He has to gather the sap every evening too - so it's keeping him busy. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup - no wonder it's expensive to buy - right?

It's nice to see my cabin being put to a good use.
